OPAL Labelmanagement™
With OPAL Labelmanagement™ you can control and structure your printing processes in SAP® simply, clearly and centrally. You manage data contents in SAP® and can determine these independently according to your requirements using a framework. With our add-on “Matrix Administration” you can extend your data contents with additional information directly in SAP®. With the extensive and by you configurable conditions, departments can maintain the assignment of labels e.g. to products, customers independently.
An integrated audit trail records all changes and thus meets all traceability requirements in regulated industries. Users, developers and designers have extensive tools at their disposal, such as a live preview, a simulation and various up- and downloads of maintenance tables.
Our BAPIs allow the system to be optimally integrated into your SAP® processes and thus automate printing. In addition to SAP® as the print-triggering system, the system offers a wide range of integration options. For the integration of external partners, such as suppliers, we offer a web printing solution (WPC).
Label design
OPAL supports professional label layout programs such as NiceLabel, BarTender or Teklynx. The corresponding software is fully integrated into SAP® by OPAL and allows you to design your own label layouts. It provides you with all the necessary functions to create labels according to your specific specifications and supports all current standards (GS1, UDI, CLP, etc.). There are almost no design limitations. The software offers Unicode support for text, True and Open-Type fonts, including special characters and is printer-independent.
EH&S Enhancement
OPAL offers you the “EH&S Master Class” add-on for CLP / GHS labeling to collect content from the SAP® EH&S module. This enables you to map phrases, pictograms, identifiers, ingredients, and dangerous goods data in your labels.
OMS - OPAL Mobile Solutions framework
The OMS module system enables you to customise business processes both flexibly and precisely to meet your company’s requirements. Innovative mobile asset inventory for SAP®
This is how asset inventories are conducted these days: the innovative OPAL asset inventory software simplifies and accelerates the tedious process considerably. The software solution generates inventory lists with an optimized record of all the assets stored in SAP®. You can print these and load them onto a mobile device and/or the Excel format for further processing. To mark the assets permanently and uniquely, asset or inventory labels can be sent directly from SAP® to a label printer. For the mobile application, the employee logs on to the device and can then record the assets in the individual locations, cost centres or rooms when on the move. The mobile device saves and time stamps the inventory data. These data can then be loaded directly to SAP® and processed.
